Stimulus-sensitive myoclonus in akinetic-rigid syndromes

Level 3: Stimulus-sensitive myoclonus is a recognized feature of a number of akinetic-rigid syndromes. It may rarely be observed in some patients with multiple system atrophy or Parkinson's disease and is one of the characteristic manifestations of corticobasal degeneration.
